I mentioned that I was working on an altered book and I wanted to add some pictures of that tonight. Its a work in progress, but I’m enjoying it. I used an old book that I had pulled pages out of for other projects, effectively cutting down on the number of pages to alter and then I also glued them together in groups of 5 with the exception of the group with the pendant embedded in it. The blurry fishies are some of 15 new additions to the big beast tank. All the fish are a little shy so far so I’ve been standing or sitting about 10 feet away watching their antics and its so fun and peaceful.
In other news I spent the day downloading tons of music from a website called Limewire which has me going music gaga. I love music- for as long as I can remember its been a part of my life. I have memories from 2 yrs old playing with my Playskool little people on the foot pedals of my mom’s huge upright piano and I have pics of me and my aunt at the piano when I was learning to walk. I have my hands on the keys and a big grin on my face so if that gives you an idea. My music tastes are very very eclectic and my download list has included Simon and Garfunkel, Ray Stevens, Alanis Morrisette, Sir Mixalot, Evanescence, The Beatles, The Mamas and the Papas, Peter Paul and Mary, Neil Diamond, Chuck Berry, Bon Jovi, Queen, Rush, and so many many more. I’ve downloaded 85 songs today (for FREE FREE FREE) and I have over 200 on my lust list. I’m like a kid in a candy store as I listen to and sing along with the Everly Brothers. The song on right now is oddly appropriate– “… whenever I want you all I have to do is dream…” Music is always there for me. I used to sing myself to sleep and end up singing in my sleep.
