No the title has no particular meaning, it simply happens to be the song playing right now. So in that theme, I have a picture
of the tomato harvest. I also had one of all the carrots that I picked today, but unfortunately the camera died and I was the silly one thinking taking a picture or two without the memory card wouldn’t make much difference. So I have to wait for the battery to charge now. C’est la vie.
I don’t know if that makes the rockin world go round, but it was either that or Girls just wanna have fun. I worked diligently on my altered book and by tomorrow it may at least be filled if not “finished” by my standards. I’m having a blast with it now that I’ve just decided to work with what I have instead of looking at art books and thinking “this would be so much better if I could just do it right with this tool or that gadget” Art books are great for inspiration, but at times they breed discontent and end up convincing you that you need to buy the whole art store because that one item was the one thing you didn’t buy last time and it has needs that can only be satisfied with all these other things.
The wonderful thing about art is there is no right way. Ain’t no beauty queens in this locality. I just do what I can with what I got. And for the final quote, you gotta let it all hang out. If you don’t know the song, its Queen and if you’re a woman, you should know it because its a wonderful homage to well you can probly guess. Gotta love that Freddy Mercury.
