Well KathiD already beat me to this post, but I thought I’d continue with my plans since I’ve had the captcha collage on this computer for quite some time now. What is the deal with this stuff anyway? I mean I know its supposed to catch spam and all, but I end up getting seriously frustrated with it and with the way my computer behaves about blogger (very childish no matter what web browser I use) I usually give up on leaving comments on any pages that put me through that kind of torture.

What cracks me up is that they call this word verification! Seriously? So I know some of you have very valid reasons for keeping this stuff- lots of spam or whatever, but be forwarned that a lot of us would probably leave more comments if we didn’t have to fight our way through these word verifications. I recommend checking out Akismet which is a program that gets rid of spam comments. I don’t know if its available on other platforms, but thats just one more reason why wordpress is awesome. Yes I know blogger is more customizable for free, but still- wordpress kicks some serious butt here folks. I’m finding myself drawn more and more to the blogs on wordpress because the ease of use for me is just way up there. Of course there are a few of you who I could never leave no matter which program you use and you probably know who you are, but there are a lot of new people who I will only visit once because the hassle is too great. Ack stupid computer. Oh well, the less time spent on the computer, the better, right?
